Written at a Grade 2.5 level, this version offers a plethora of teachable moments, from accents/ staccatos to a legato, ballad-like section in the middle. Opening with a brilliant fanfare which gives way to an upbeat, catchy melody presented as a clarinet soli, this piece gets going and doesn't relent. This piece is worth every penny, and you'll have plenty to celebrate after it's successful performance. So here is to bands in our schools everywhere!
